The young golfer can count on multiple high-profile cheerleaders when she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous international courses and often matches against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He practically told me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments this year and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.
But she's able to receive tips from golf legend, who is dating her mother.
"He is the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to go out there, relax, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, such as second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Officials mentioned that her participation helps introduce golf to different demographics, specifically among younger fans.
Kai has millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
